Why does the video thumbnail show a silver grill? European model? Anyway, great review!

I'll be keeping my eye on this during black Friday sales.

I picked up one of these and it offers a sleek package and a fair amount of features, bass hits good for size of the package, but the sound bar would be lost without it.

The biggest problem i have with this setup is on the software side, it comes from the factory with eco mode enabled which normally i'd be all for except in my experience it causes frequent disconnects from the subwoofer and rear surrounds whenever you turn the system off. Also had some difficulty setting up the system with the smartcast app as well as getting smartcast itself to work properly quite a few times…it either shows up in the cast list but doesn't connect, or it will connect and show it's playing, allowing me to control volume etc….but doesn't actually play anything.

The benefits are obviously sleek packaging and i can now control the system from my tv remote simplifying things, however if someone was using another source such as bluetooth before me i have to manually switch back which is an annoyance.

Does a Sound bar having more Channels make it the best? What's the difference between a 4.1, 5.1, 6.1, 7.1.8.1 and 9.1 Channel Sound bar? Which one should I get?

The only con for me, I have to keep resyncing my phone. It doesn't automatically reconnect when both the phone and the soundbar is on.

Excellent sound and easy set up.  This is an amazing value.  One thing to consider is to avoid some frustration is to be careful choosing speaker stands.  The included Vizio RCA type cords that connect the satellite speakers to the subwoofer have a somewhat large square shaped head.  They would not pass through the lumen of the legs speaker stands that my local Best Buy said "were made for Vizio" speakers.  I shopped around and could not find a local retailer that did have legs that would accommodate the connectors (whether it was the lumen itself, or the opening at either end for the cables).  I ended up just using small black cable ties which were not preferred, but aesthetically acceptable.  We are very happy with the system and I post this just to help others avoid the frustration and time commitment of running all over looking for appropriate speaker stands.   It is my own fault for not researching and ordering appropriate stand, but I wanted to purchase and set up the same day.  Great system once the speaker stands are figured out.

How does the sound compare the previous year model SB4051-C0? The sound bar from the year is not as slim but should have bigger drivers… possibly better sound quality? Is the trade off for smaller size worth it?

The Bass bottoms out REALLY bad. Sounds like a janky ass ghetto system when loud noises strike in movies. Definitely not worth $500. $250 for this is a decent price, provided you turn the bass down on your system.

Does anyone know where to get replacement cords for the long cords that connect to small speakers to the subwoofer
