Sony as always is 5 steps ahead of everyone. I have the 900E and man for the price is absolutely incredible!

X1 ultimate not extreme. Video is full of wrong mentions…

I have E900 absolutely amazing quality pictures and black level for 1000 EUR. Next generation Sony TV will be Crystal LEd for reasonable price, not current one.

The price is still too high compared with LG OLEDs and Android OS is still garbage.

I knew there was something fishy with their launch at the beginning of the year. Z9F will surely be a great opponent to the Samsung Q9F. I think pricing will be very important on this.
By the way, why does your title say X9F?

  • July 31, 2018 at 8:14 pm

The title is not right => "X"9F instead of "Z"9F 😉

I had the zd9 amazing television but had two fail on me didn't want to risk the third stepped down to the x900e and went with the 75 inch, not as good but still nice TV, I won't buy another Sony TV until they sort out their OS!! I can't believe how bad it actually is in everyday usage, reviewers call it bad, but in reality it's almost impossible to use!

Shame SONY didn't design the AF9 components /sub kick stand to be somehow disconnectable with a Samsung type one connect cable to the TV so the OLED doesn't stick out as much when wall mounting

He has been keep saying X1 Extreme processor instead X1 Ultimate. Well, here I have corrected it.
He must be too excited about it, looks like.
    Sony rules.

Super rushed video! Its the z9f not x9f, the x1 extreme processor is the step down these just got the new ultimate series processor. Super shakey camera and overall just a poor attempt of trying to be the first one out with a video

Sony said, to hell with announcing more TV's at CES, we got more to show NOW! That said, I like the stand on the OLED, but again, don't like that it keeps the TV angled. the ZD9 is the brightest, best HDR LCD available, how does the Z9F improve on something that's already the best in it's LCD field? Sony makes amazing TV's and the prices for their LCD's have really come down to fair comparability with competitors over the last 3 years or so. their OLED's though are like at least $1-1.5K more than competitors. I mean, yeah the image processor is amazing, but not for a a few more grand at the same TV size and making the picture slightly dimmer too. I've got no problem with them using Android TV, as long as they don't go back to that ugly basic UI they still have in their Bluray players. I have the UDP-X800. None the less, excited for improvements. I love TV tech.

That has to be the brightest oled I've seen. Still, the burn in needs to be sorted out.
