EA’s NBA Live franchise returns with its best effort in a while capturing the spirit and atmosphere of basketball culture, but it’s not without its problems.

They are improving . 2k need competition. I don't like EA but NBA 2k need competition. Last good NBA 2k is 2k11. Now Imagining some dev make a wrestling game to compete with WWE 2k series.

No way this game deserves a 7. A 6 at best. The bugs, commentary and lack of content are inexcusabley bad. If 2k doesn't get a 9 or 10, then something is wrong.

I preordered 18 last year, but if I decide to eventually get this, I'll wait for black friday to get this for about $10. The severe lack of franchise mode improvements scared me off for now. This is not a $65 game, not when it's competitor is vastly superior.

No player editing again! Despite ea knowing they pissed off people to the point last year where they patched in a basic editor late in the nba season. It's like they don't listen to their fans at all. And one of the few things live had over 2k is the lack of microtransactions, but they are already screwing that up, and charging full price for an inferior game.

It's main problem is that it's a streetball arcade game, with a little bit of nba mixed in. That should be reversed. The ea devs in interviews to me obviously wanted to hide/avoid the lack of franchise improvements. It's clear to me that they don't care what people want.

Another year, another mediocre NBA Live, despite EA's endless wheel barrels of cash. Sad! 😂

Both Live and 2K look like shit again, lol And both games don't deserve a purchase, even if they were great. After all, EA is evil, it deserves to die. And 2k sports became very evil as well lol In the end, it's a sad time to be a basketball fan, unless if you are a warriors fan. Luckily I watched Shaq and Kobe, all Kobe's career (all the highs and lows), many old games back when megaupload still worked, etc.. I just feel sad for the new fans having to endure all this bullshit.

A 7 is too high. 2k at its worst is still way better than live anyone who thinks they’re close is crazy.

even though nba 2k19 is better than nba live 19. i will buy this game because 2k is just the same as last year….. and i will buy this for a change…….. nba 2k really needs competition because they become complacent and over confident on improving the game
