It also now has 4 microphones over the 1 it previously had, that and the better design is why I bought it.

Excellent video. I liked your words. And the way yu did the compare of the sounds was great. So clear with the x going back nd forth, nd naming the song. I used a lovely sticker to cover amazon name on my dot, so found it interesting they took it off. Tysm

Excellent video. Please do more. Appreciated the format. You compared to Google, not just compared to previous dot.

Looking forward to future videos from you.

Anyone notice they changed the Microphone crossed out (To turn off the mic) to the circle that's crossed out. The Amazon Dot listens to you even when its "Muted". You're not getting feedback but its listening.

The biggest problem with 3rd gen is the power socket.
Will not buy because I am using 4 units of 2nd gen &
can easily power up with the usual charging socket & power bank.

So, why Change the charging socket??? why? why? why?

In comparison, Echo dot does sound better than the Google Home but its mids are somewhat muffled

I must admit I really like the new Echo Dot I preordered one. I held out for a while to decide which smart home speaker to get. Google home seems a lot better in the AI area.

Thanks for the video. Can you put a video on the stereo pairing? I heard right now it only works for streaming Amazon music but not for connecting my computer and play movies in stereo. Is that true and if yes, will that change?

Don't you think Amazon is spying on you? Same as Google. Because they need your data to figure out how to sell you more.

    Two things:

    1. Does it still use Bing as its search engine? Makes it almost useless when asking questions.
    2. Set it at volume 7, play music from Pandora, step away about 10 feet and ask it a question in a normal voice and see if it responds. The one I have, you have to talk directly into its ear for it to hear you. The speaker interferes with the mic.

These are two things that make me prefer the Google Home.
