Following a constant stream of leaks that begun around two months ago, the Huawei Mate 20 series is just six days away. And today, after previous leaking out in black, newly-leaked renders of the regular device showcase it in Huawei’s unique Twilight finish.
As revealed multiple times before, the Huawei Mate 20 will come equipped with a large 6.5-inch LCD display. This will then boast a relatively small chin below the display and a waterdrop notch above which is only big enough to house the front-facing camera and the proximity sensor. Internally, Huawei has confirmed that the Kirin 980 will be included. Alongside this, a recent certification listing confirmed a variety of storage configurations ranging from 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage to 8GB and 512GB. Regardless of the option chose, a large 4,000mAh battery will be included alongside Android 9 Pie complete with the EMUI 9.0 overlay on top.
Following in the footsteps of the Huawei P20 Pro, a heavy focus on the camera department is to be expected with this smartphone. More specifically, users can expect a main 20-megapixel camera alongside a wide-angle sensor and a telephoto lens.
Pricing-wise, a previous tip suggested it could start at around $850, although this may vary by market. When it comes to a release date, pre-orders are expected to commence shortly after the event, while shipments will presumably begin by the end of this month.
